Does anyone have recommendations on purchasing a condo in either
Studio City, Toluca Lake, Burbank or Glendale? Any areas you'd highly recommend, near parks, shops, etc? How about the airplane noise from the Burbank airport? What areas are affected by the airport?
Looking for something under $350K.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

i'm not sure that you're going to find much at that price in the areas mentioned. however, prices appear to be dropping and it seems as if the trend will continue for the foreseeable future. i would hold off and wait a while before jumping into the real estate market here.

You should be able to find something in Burbank or Glendale in that price range but not in Studio City or Toluca Lake.

Which would you prefer or are you from out of town and have not been to any of those areas?

You could conceivably find a place within your budget if you shop in an auction. Please remember to count the HOA fees when you calculate your mortgage. All of the areas you mentioned are nice, family friendly places. I would pick the one closest to your job.
