And aren't you in Orange County, anyway? It's always much cooler down that way.
Yes, I'm in OC. But it's not always cooler here. [Parts of] OC are often much hotter than [parts of] LA. Just depends where you are. I'm 12 miles inland and it gets pretty darn hot.

Well, I'm sorry you had a bad day, but I don't know why taking your anger out on CA4Now makes your situation any better.

What anger? I'm not angry, just bemused at the need to mope and vent when there's a single hot day, while weeks or months of cooler weather go unremarked. But whatever, carry on...I know to avoid this thread from now on.

Why would somebody remark on weather that's consistent with what we've been having for weeks or months?

Says the person who said, just a few hours ago, "But whatever, carry on...I know to avoid this thread from now on."

That was my intention, but if I am directly addressed, I consider it common politeness to respond.

Please do not take that as an invitation to bait me.

I enjoy how you claim I baited you, when the claim itself is bait, since I never did that. Thanks for amusing me -- well done, and have a great evening.

The high in downtown L.A. today was 87 degrees. Woodland Hills had a high of 97 degrees, almost reaching the record setting high of 99 degrees in 1996.

Riverside had record high ties both Thursday and Friday. 98°F both days, the old Thursday record was set in 1981&2008, and the old Friday record was set in 1996
