After watching TV's Brady Bunch for years in the 1960s and 1970s, and seeing the great life they had in Southern CA, I wanted to move there. It seemed like the perfect life. They never seemed to have any of the problems that people would have in SC today. I wonder what town they were suppose to live in and what would it look like today in the Brady's neighborhood?

Funny I always thought it was a house in Sherman Oaks, but as it turns out, it was Studio City. Abd for the record, you don't want to live in Studio City - you want to live in 1970. Take me with you.

Here's a link with the history of the house.

Here's the story of the Brady Bunch house

It would look like the Universal Lot which is exactly where you can find it!

You can visit the "outside" of the house in Studio City. People live there and it's a nice looking street, but the show was not filmed in the house, it's just the outside shot.

Has anyone visited the Brady home recently? From the article I know the home was there as recently as 1994, but that was 15 years ago. I wonder if it is still there or if someone has changed any of its features.

The house is located in Studio City, North of Ventura, and off of Tujunga.

We had a house South of Ventura, and my son used to throw papers on that block.

The house was only used for the opening titles/beauty shot for the sitcom.

The neighborhood is still decent.

Wow! that was a long time ago!

The actual filming was probably done in Hollywood [studios on Melrose or Sunset maybe]. What network produced the Brady Bunch? I don't think their was a live audience.
