The following screenshots are all I have to go on, but as you'll see, the place is huge.

Here's a couple showing an entrance to the place. Note, one of them has 525 as the street number.

And this one MAY be the most helpful, but not to a non-local like me. Notice the street sign. I can't make it out. It looks like Mc... something. Problem is it's partially obscured. I'm hoping the building itself will ring a bell with someone.
The first photo shows mountains in the background & there are oak trees in the lower photos that suggest somewhere near Pasadena or La Canada.

I'm not sure how many fans are here on CityData, since there's already an online forum elsewhere on this topic that answers such questions.....

Actually, if you just search online, you'll probably find your answer, like I did for you already. I searched for the epsisode name & put the word mansion (in that particular search) & put the search in google images. Then I followed the leads. It was one of the first results. I pointed out the source of the answer!!!!

I hope this helps.
Thanks for the tips, although for this forum it's less about Knight Rider, and more about the locations in and around LA. I'm not looking for fans of the show, I'm looking for people who know a lot about the ins and outs of the city. With that being said, I don't want to inundate the forum with a bunch of separate "help me find this place" threads - I figure one will do for now. I'm sure those of you who frequent this forum can appreciate not seeing 10 different threads for 10 different locations I'm looking for, yes?

I have searched online. Lots. In fact that's why I'm here, to ask questions about the city - not about the show. Where you found the answer to the Pasadena mansion location (knightrideronline) is actually where I've been participating for five years, and is where the information you guys provide me ultimately gets posted - thank you all for that. If you look at this thread (knight rider online • View topic - Locations ?), you'll notice it's over 25 pages long and is over a year old. The very info that you posted here on the history of the Pasadena mansion was first posted on knightrideronline by me to begin with, look at the date is was posted.

Thanks for you help folks.

Well, the question you asked.... was answered on that Knightrider forum - where you say you were a participant (the info was from 12/08 I think and it isn't like the info has changed) & the next question you asked was also related to KR.... so I'm confused...

With all due respect, I love LA too, but not every knook & cranny seen on tv on Knight Rider!

Good luck with your quests!

That is exactly what I thought. It could be Bel Air, but really reminds me of the Pasa/San Marino border...

You have a dark blue street sign which is probably LA. You have a large mountain in the distance which might be the San Gabriels. And you have few trees so Bev Hills is unlikely.
My first thot is Pasadena or San Marino but then the sign might not be the right color.

Good luck!

Pasadena next to the Arroyo Seco, near where the Bruce Wayne mansion was from Batman, Might be the one that burned down during renovation.

You guys are fantastic. Now maybe you can help me out with one. I found this photo at home and for the life of me cannot find what city it was taken in. I did quite a bit of research to no avail.

In the last photo in the original post, the house directly to the driver's left is also the mansion where the main character in the "Benson" TV show lived.

It's on Oakland Ave. at Woodland. That was a pretty lame show, though.
