First frost this morning. These are pumpkin leaves. By later this afternoon I'll be able to see the damage.

I hoped it would miss us. Tomorrow's forecast here says 85°. The pumpkins could use more hot days to finish turning orange. You can see a little frost on leaves to the right.

I replied to your thread earlier today, but I must have bumped something on the laptop that cancelled the "send" !

I think I'll have 200-225 with all varieties combined.

I'm near Topsfield, map 35 in the Gazetteer. I'm bummed. All of my warm weather vegetables except the corn were killed. I knew it was a possibility but I was flip about it. When I looked at the map on Weather Bug yesterday I blew off the idea of frost in Washington county and thought it would hit up north. My friends up north didn't get hit.

Probably up this way. I had to scrape the car window this morning when I went to work. Far too early for this. Worst part is that they are calling for 80 tomorrow, I would rather it just get cold then stay cold, or stay warm longer.

Must not have been up early enough. I was out of the house by 4:30 AM and had to scrape a bunch off. When I got to Fort Fairfield there wasn't a sign of any. I think it was just lower lying areas that got it.

Not really. I grow vegetables 10 months of the year. I needed to take this year off so I planted pumpkins in part of the field so that local kids and businesses can have pumpkins.
