Sure do hope ya'll can make it work. Even if you have to rent it out for a few years, at least you would have your own Eastport place. I'm crossing my fingers and toes for you. Ya-Ya's!!

Thanks corgis.. people always ask me why Maine..(if they not seen the vacation pics) and I tell them that we already have several friends in the area...decided it was best not explain the whol ya-ya to them. I have a distinct feeling most people won't "get us."

If people ask you "Why Maine" you just tell them there's a party here that's just waiting for you to show up. By the time you hit the town line everyone will know you're there

Ladies,

That's a smokin price reduction!!

How do you find out about all these price reductions? I can't find any listing for Orange Street in Eastport. Are you using MMLS or going direct through a realtor online listing????

Check out Due East Realty - then click on towns/Eastport - it's listed there.

How about the one on Gilman for $39,5900?

In its present state sort of like a home that would inspire Stephen King to write a novel Definitely has potential though and looks large.

By "shell" do they mean it is burnt out, already gutted or needs to be gutted??

I'd guess that it's already gutted, or in desperate need of it. It looks rough, a lot of windows broken out eaves/roof look bad, probably has a lot of water damage inside- plaster falling down, etc.
