Hi everyone, I hate to butt my nose in the middle of a conversation but wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I have been "lurking" since yesterday. My DH and I are in the process of buying some land up in Woodland. We love Maine and have been going up for about 8 years now, we go to Porter on the border of Freedom NH. We have several friends in that area but have decided to go up further north and have been looking for a while now.
We have about another 10/15 years till retirement so will work on the land and get it ready for that time to come. Now we are in MA but may be moving to NH the being of 2008. My DH is in the Army Reserves and just landed a full time job with them, he just came back from a tour in Iraq with the Reserves and has decided to finish out his career. We have been thinking of moving closer to Ft Deven's where he'll be working so will start checking out that area after the holidays. I love NH too. We are also soon to be first time Grandparents and will be bringing them along so want to wait until the baby has arrived before we make our first move. The next one will be to MAINE.. I can't wait for that one. I love the peace and serenity Maine has to offer.
Hope to meet and talk to you all soon
