When I was on the phone with my son last night he said it was snowing down there too! He was as excited as you guys are. I told him not to get too excited, it'll still be a while before the trails will be ready. He reminded me of last year.

When I was sitting in the tree stand about 8:00 a.m. yesterday I thought it was snowing on a cloudless day!! The sun was just starting to melt the heavy frost from the trees and the wind lifted little ice flakes from the branches and needles. Cool.

We got 2 inches of the 'white stuff' here in WV yesterday - the mountains got feet instead of inches.

I've got about a half inch of white on my deck here on the Cape! I don't even have my leaves raked up yet! The red oaks are always the last ones to 'give it up' and so now there are white caps on the windblown piles of leaves. Wind is howling.... I just LOVE this time of year!!!!!!!

It actually snowed here yesterday, albeit briefly! The same, just a few wind-blown flurries. I was *thrilled* all the same!!!
