I am super curious about how everyone feels about Annapolis, I currently live and Bowie and absolutely hate it. My family and I are looking to relocate to a more "balanced" area and are thinking about Annapolis, any thoughts? Also, if not Annapolis, where else would you suggest for safe, balanced and artistic but affordable places to live?

Check out the Riva Trace community, down Riva road, nice and it is outside of the city limits, your taxes would be quite a bit less( no piggyback tax), also close to mall and hospital. Ten minutes from downtown docks.

how old are your children?

the city of annapolis is great, some of the elementary schools are great, some of the middle schools are great. Annapolis high school is not so great. You'd probably want to live in Parole (which isn't technically Annapolis) so your high school aged children can go to another high school if you don't want to pay for private school.
