Did you end up moving to Annapolis, Beebelle? Where?

I'd love to live in Eastport, but the public schools are poorly rated there (in various methods) and the housing prices are prohibitive. My other half and I are looking in Severna Park and Cape Saint Claire, although SP looks much more likely with its better commute.

I have a liberal friend who lives in Severna Park, and she claims the area is very conservative. She wants to move into Annapolis, though.

I'd heard the presence of the Naval Academy influenced the Annapolis area into a more conservative bent. I don't know why this would be so, but that's what I heard.

FYI, beebelle hasn't been on this board since 2012.

Here's how I break down Annapolis and it's suburbs
Annapolis (proper): both liberal and conservative.
Severna Park and Arnold: Mostly conservative, about 35% is liberal
Edgewater, Harwood, and Davidsonville: (Extremely conservative, about 15-20% liberal).
Odenton, Crofton, Crownsville, and Gambrills: (A good mix between conservative and liberal).
