Baystate medical is one of the best hospitals in the state and located right in Springfield.

UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester is the top hospital outside of Boston. As mentioned above, Baystate Medical Center in Springfield is the largest hospital in Western MA and is an affilliate of the Tufts University School of Medicine. Between these two hospitals you would be well served for medical care.
