We will be in Lee next week and I would like to go to New York city and take a bus tour around the city. Any suggestions? I know it will be an all day thing, but is there train transportation, how long, or is it better to drive and park someplace and pick up a tour bus. Any suggestions, or any other leads on things to do in the Berkshires is appreciated. Thanks

Well for train options you could drive to either Albany or Springfield and take the Amtrak. Or you could just drive into NYC from Lee(but from Lee it is about 3+ hours). I don't know of any tour bus trips off hand but I am sure there is some.

Peter Pan runs buses from Lee to NYC. 2 buses / day.

Another option is to drive to a Metro North station. Wassaic is the closest, a little over an hour drive and the train journey is 2hr15 min.
