Lots of snow, at least 9" or 10" out in my area, not too far from Chelmsford.

I am going for round 2 of shoveling out and de-icing my car in a few minutes.

The roads appear to be clear. I see people driving around here fine.

Icy conditions, thread very lightly. It is very cold right now. Snow started to thaw and then froze rapidly. Not the funnest snow-storm.

So I am in Andover. Everything that was supposed to go wrong, did Instead of getting here at 11am, I got to Logan at 2pm, then something went wrong with the car rental, and I was stranded there for hours till a friend picked me up. So here I am finally in Andover but sans car So, I won't be able to drive around or do any touristy activities which is a bummer, but I am glad that this day is finally over and I can rest. Thank you all for your help. Gotta say I forgot how cold it gets in this area and how beautiful it is with the snow

Does anyone have any experience./knowledge about towns in NH that are close to Andover like Salem? I will check the NH boards of course but just wanted to get experience from people who work in MA and live on that side of town.

I'm not sure about the schools in Salem, it doesn't have a good reputation. Londonderry and Windham are nice towns. Like you mentioned, ask on the NH board and they will have good advice,

Just know that if you live in NH but work in Massachusetts you will still have to pay Massachusetts taxes but will not get the benefit of it. And personally I would not live in Salem NH, it is fairly high crime for that area.

Yeh i read about the income tax thing, doesn't bother me, since living in ma, i will still have to pay income tax. High crime on the other hand, scares me, I do not want to move to an area that is known for crime, so Salem is out. Thank you.
