I just moved to Carlisle and I am looking for a do-it-yourself car wash somewhere nearby. I have seen plenty of the touchless ones, but I would like to find one where you can do it yourself. Thanks for any info!

They are hard to find for some reason. I could find them all the time in Michigan and California!

The Scrub-a-Dub in Marlborough - 216 Maple/rte 85 has manual bays.
Theres one on Main st in Clinton
One in Lowell, 1700 Middlesex. With a laundry...

I steer clear of those "do it yourself" car wash bays. The brushes often have more dirt in them than my floor matts. They scratch the heck out of the paint.

There are very few do it yourself car washes around here because apartments aren't as common as they are in other parts of the country. Our version of "apartments" are 2 or 3 family homes which all have driveways and outdoor faucets. Why don't you just wash your car in your driveway?

I love washing my own car, but there's been a water ban in Needham the last two years so I can't.
