Hi all. Well my husband accepted a job offer in Boylston, MA recently and will be starting work there in a month. We currently live in Houston, Texas, and are looking for recommendations on best neighborhoods to live in. Here is our criteria
1. Older house (1940s and older)
2. No more than 30-45 min commute
3. Good school system (have an 11 year old)
4. Would prefer about 0.5 acre, but could live without it
5. Would prefer an actual neighborhood, not a house in rural area
6. Price is 200-400K (200K for less land, 400K for more acreage)
You can still buy a smaller home (<2000sf) in Shrewsbury or Westborough for $350-400k. Those would be my top choices for good schools, short commute and suburban feel.
