I have lived in Colorado, Texas, Massachusetts and currently in Florida. I have found snobbery in each and every place, just with a different accent attached.

Your issue is not others, it's yourself. If you think other people are snobby that says you're also snobby. Ever hear of the law of attraction? You attract what you are. If you seem to come into contact with a lot of snobby people you're attracting them because you're also snobby. I'm an outgoing person and I come into contact with outgoing people because that's who I am. I don't sit around complaining about people being snobs because that's not who I am and those aren't the kind of people I attract to myself.

The irony in this is that *some* people are actually trying to defend their hometowns friendliness by bashing the living sh*t out of anyone even mildly questioning it.
