Been getting tubs of ice cream from Richardson's in Middleton for a while now. Whether I walk up and get a cup of ice cream, or a tub of it doesn't really matter to me.

This isn't an eating out thing but, I really miss being able to go to a grocery store and take my time and wander the aisles without concern of where other people are, if I'm going in the right direction, standing in the right place, etc.

I've been doing the Instacart thing lately because the idea of the current in-person shopping situation is stressing me out. It's not fear at all, just dealing with all the rules and limitations that I haven't wanted to experience.

So, yeah. I am looking forward to the day when a simple trip to the grocery store or (especially) Trader Joe's! is normal and easy again.

I totally relate to this. I'm one of those (rare ones?) who used to find grocery shopping relaxing, especially in the produce aisle. Now, it's a mad nervous rush, from sanitizing the cart, to donning gloves & mask, to following the arrows, then minimizing any time spent passing by other shoppers. Then, depending on the store setup, checkout can be nerve wracking too, mostly because of other shoppers who don't "get" the system and tend to cluster too close.

Yeah, can't wait for the good old leisurely days to return, so I can once again browse Trader Joe's latest offerings.

I'd like to eat outside again at a little place in North Amherst where the old train station must have been. I remember it as a small grocery store with a post office inside. But last year it had morphed into a wonderful take out restaurant and you could sit outside by the railroad tracks. I think we even had a train go by while we were sitting there. The food was great. I know how to get there but I don't know its name.

I just want to go sit at a bar, have a good fish n chip, throw back a few pops and watch a game somewhere outside my house, maybe having an interesting conversation or two while I’m at it.

Those of us who live near the northern border can head to NH or VT already to dine in outdoor seating with a reservation.

In Mass. Barrett's on the Waterfront in Fall River is awesome. The Star Drive-up in Lakeville, is a hidden gem.

In Tiverton, Rhode Island, 'The Boathouse' started serving outside last week.
