I recommend Shrewbury or Grafton. They are close to Worcester with good schools.

I dont have a car and am moving to Worcester. Going to be working downtown. Any suggestions on where I can live and bus to work? Thought abt gettin something downtown close to work but reading the posts here makes me rethink that. I dont have a lot of time and need to decide soon so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Anoop

I'm not sure about Worcester's schools, but the Greendale, Burncoat and Tatnuck neighborhoods are very nice. You basically want to stay on the outskirts of the city avoiding the downtown neighborhoods (for living that is).

Based on your criteria, I would suggest (in order of most to least urban) Shrewsbury, Westborough, Northborough, Southborough and Berlin. Personally, I would not buy a house within the city of Worcester. The towns have better schools and services. Berlin and Northborough would be my favorites. The schools in Northborough/Soutborough are outstanding.
