Hi I am 53 and married. My wife and I enjoy going out to dinner on a Saturday evening and am looking for a place to go for desert or a coffee later on. Does anyone know of a place in the Braintree, Area, maybe even within a 15 mile radius of Braintree that a couple or even a person could go and sit, have coffee and desert and just be able to sit and talk, read... just mellow out for a few hours? Looking for any ideas. I know this can be done in book stores but looking for something more like a cafe restaurant type of setting.

Thanks

(Sorry to interject sjm, but I'm still a little confused about all the places we went BUT I know we did have cake, I'm pretty sure. Soon as I get my bearings I might be able to suggest somewhere. )

There's a place called Coffee Break Cafe near Quincy Center station. I think they have one in Braintree too. There have to be a lot of cafe-like places within 15 miles of Braintree.
