I know there is no such thing, but my wife still has the terrible habit of smoking and I am curious where I can pickup the cheapest carton of camel blue smokes.
Wal-mart has them at $80/carton and MinitStop has them for around $85/carton.
there is no cheap cig on the wallet or on your health. urge her to try the patch, in combo with wellbutrin pills, that was the only way I was able to kick a 2.5 pack a day habit. there are also quit smoking forums on lie that are a big support.
If you want cheap ones go to a smoke shop, and buy the machine that you can pack your own tobacco into empty filters. Then buy a pack of tobacco, some empty filters, and pack your own cigs. You'll pay way less for a little bit more work.
"Hawaii is one of four states that provides only half of the recommended funding to mandated tobacco prevention programs, and is among the majority of states that don't pay promised amounts, according to a new report by several prominent health and anti-smoking groups."
Fifteen years after reaching more than $246 billion in legal settlements against the tobacco industry, most states are shortchanging prevention programs targeted at their residents, according to the report.
Hawaii -- along with Delaware, Wyoming and Oklahoma -- provide only half of the tobacco prevention funding recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, but that's still better than most states, the report found.
Nationwide, states on average provide just 13 percent of the CDC-recommended tobacco prevention funding, and only two states -- North Dakota and Alaska -- are funding the programs at the recommended level, the report says.
"and only two states -- North Dakota and Alaska -- are funding the programs at the recommended level, the report says."
Seems as if at least 2 states are better to quit than in Hawaii.
Holistically speaking, I wouldn't say that at all.
I wasn't commenting on how much Hawai'i spends on anti-tobacco advertising, or on getting people to enroll in their programs. I was commenting on the totality of the experience I had... benefiting from a truly comprehensive and supportive program, in the middle of a beautiful environment where so many healthy distractions exist, with the added motivation of vog periodically providing a reminder of how frightening respiratory problems can be.
For me the combination worked, where several previous attempts in other locations had failed, including one which was quite pricey. Hawai'i's program is completely free. I found it to be outstanding.
I highly recommend it, even to people who think they'll never be able to quit. Tell a friend!
Or start a garden and grow the silly stuff. I've heard the flowers smell wonderful so even when you quit, the flowers will still be good. Pinetree Garden Seeds - Tobacco Seeds
