I actually slept from 10 p.m.-5:30 a.m. YAY! That's with just the 1.75 mg. of Lorazepam. I was shocked when I woke up and saw it was 5:30. I figured it was going to be 2 or 3 a.m. Since today is one of my two work days I am a happy camper this morning.
Joe have you tried cannabis oil? It didn't work for my sleep issues or fibromyalgia but some people swear by it.

It's been an excruciating hard few days between my depression, anxiety, loneliness and foot pain. I repacked a run bag for the hospital yesterday, but would rather not go back again anytime soon

What happened to moving to Charlotte or a larger city?
With mass transport, lots of activities to do...perhaps better medical care?
I had been asked to move in with a friend in the mountains and we were waiting on a few things before doing that. (Like getting to a better point medically before changing doctors.) But now the mountain move has fallen through, so I guess I'm back to hopefully moving to Charlotte. Better services and more to do. I could get lost in their downtown area just taking photographs.
I am sorry, I have not followed all of these pages, but Charlotte sounds much better than the mountains as far as access to good medical care. The mountains sound wonderful - but given your health issues, it sounds like Charlotte is the better choice - especially since you sound quite fond of it! Never been to NC, but it looks quite beautiful...

It is good stuff - .25 mgs is usually enough to quiet my mind, at least for a little while. I am glad you are having a good day..
Well another morning with an okay night. I did wake up once around 3 a.m., went to the bathroom and did fall back to sleep. It's very possible the Famotidine I was taking twice a day for my ulcer was causing the sleep issue. I've only been taking the morning dose. I don't feel as energetic as I did yesterday but I don't work today so I can deal with it.
Joe are there any organizations in your area that could help you in any way? Have you had any flooding by you? My former towns in NC are still flooding.
I know people that swear by cannabis oil. It's supposed to help with sleep, pain, etc.
I just took a shower and feel much better now. I half jokingly say it takes an Act of Congress for me to get in my shower just because it is so hard to do so with my amputated right leg. The tub was put in for a guy who lived here before me and includes a lower step t get in. I actually need the full side of the tub so I could transfer from ym wheel chair to the side of the tub to either the shower chair or the tub itself. It's a very tedious process to get in. But when I got in, it feels good. Last shower for me was actually Aug. 31st, I am embarrassed to say. Sink baths don't do justice.
I also got a good look at my remaining foot and took pictures of it. It's not a bad as I had let myself imagine, but it's not good either.
