Considering the value of the cars, wouldn't this act of vandalism move up to the level of a felony based upon dollar value? I hate Smart Cars but I wouldn't flip one. It's one thing to key the side of a car because it can still be driven. A practical joke is covering the smart car with yellow and red post-it notes to make it look like a Little Tykes toy car. Another joke is to post a note or sign on the car saying "love your cute little baby car, what's it going to be when it grows up?". But flipping the car is wrong.
In San Francisco, this would fall somewhere on a scale between "social justice" and "performance art" if this was done to, say, Hummer H2s or Mercedes S-Classes. But since the target object is a favored trinket of the anointed class, let us all draw a collective *gasp!* at the horror of these unspeakable acts.
I was involved in an accident with a smart car that ran a stop sign. If it had flipped over would I have been guilty of an "unspeakable act"? Thankfully my truck was not even damaged and the smart car driver only received minor injuries. Lucky for him I hit the tip of the smart car, which spun around and went off the road into a ditch. Honestly I was surprised to see a smart car in Clewiston.

Why would it be an unspeakable act to be involved in an accident with a Smart car? That has nothing to do with this thread. Vandalism is a crime. Getting into an accident generally isn't.
Yes, let's tip over cars and commit felonies for fun! I hope these idiots all get caught and arrested.
