I see the term
Northern America as more accurate to refer to the Anglosphere. But there are now more Spanish speakers in the USA than in Spain or Colombia. The
Instituto Cervantes came to Washington to celebrate the new rank of the USA as the second largest Spanish speaking population in the world.
