I am a graduated student from MA, I want to take a 2-week rotation in Aug. 07 at the 4302 Alton Rd., Miami beach which closed by Mt. Sinai hospital.
If I don't drive, is there anyway to get the place to stay?
Any low-cost place to stay? I mean not too expensive like in the hotel.
Any recommended place?
How safe of the area?
How much of the rent at this area?
Thank you so much

The area is nice. One of the few left in Miami. Your best bet is to find some place in South Beach. Many places have furnished apartments. Very expensive anywhere in Miami especially South Beach. You would probably be looking at 500+ for two weeks. If you are looking to get away for two weeks with not to much cash Miami or Mount Sanai is not the place. Go somewhere else. Good luck.

Mt. Sinai has temporary housing for the Nursing staff. You might be able to get help from the human resources dept. You could also look at apartments.com, but not sure how willing someone is to rent for a few weeks, the area is not low cost. Maybe the Nurse recruiter dept could help you find something, their # is 305-695-1340/1341. This is a published # on their web site.
