Possibly more jobs lost in the public sector as the last census taking the private sector was intact.
These surveys are somewhat misleading as to when the Census Bureau brings in extra hands because sometimes like during the summer the federal job market has flattened out when the counting had commenced.

When the county employees get laid off, things will get worse. They actually have good paying jobs and inject money into the local economy, there will be a domino effect. Things don't look good...

People don't care about that. They rather save $100/year on property taxes. They don't care that services will go from bad to worse. Go tunnel and Stadium!!
