not "ONLY" artistically - my point is that are contexts in which nudity can exist in a non-sexual way, and that sexual and non-sexual nudity can be totally separate and distinct.

All are inclusive as part of life, but the point is - to understand that there is a distinction, and different types of nudity can be separated from one another - intelligent mature persons can identify and apply the appropriate context for each specific situation. just because someone does not have clothes on, does not necessarily mean that sexual attraction 'must' be 'triggered'. A nude beach can therefore be easily understood as separate and distinct from soft porn -- which was the original question i was responding to.

Yes, yes we already went through your belief system already. I just took a pole amongst several ladies and gentlemen and inquired if they ever met a man or woman who has successfully separated the an attractive nude person from sexual or sensual feelings.

It was an overwhelming............NO.

They all said it was not natural to not feel that way.

But its okay...you can continue feeling that way. It is a free country.

and i've met, and know, loads of people who feel the opposite way.... among them, are those in the art world, as well as those who regularly go to nude beaches and participate in other nudist types of events, without perceiving it as pornographic, and without any issues.

and yes, while i would actually agree with you that most of the population feels that way - imho that's still not an indication of whether it's 'natural' or not - it just indicates that the majority of people have fallen victim to the general oversexualization and vulgarity of modern society. and/or are sexually uptight or repressed, with the whole "sinful" belief system that regards any type of nudity as as 'forbidden' or sinful - which therefore informs their reactions, or over-reactions, to it.

what it indicates to me, is that most people just go along with, and don't examine, societal 'norms' - which include general oversexualization of everything. which again, imho, stems from the whole over-reaction to the 'sin' thing.

Americans overall are too uptight about nudity. Glad we have beaches like South Beach. Having said that, there are way too many fat naked old men at Haulover.

No one cares about what you look like. No one has anything to hide.

I have been to haulover over 20 times and I have never seen a JLO type in the Nude section. Mostly 50-60 something white men. A few couples mixed in. There are pictures of haulover in yahoo pix section. Alot of the hot women who are going topless are going to the gay side to avoid all the oldies from gawking and trying to chat them up. The women at haulover are mostly 3-5s. or 2 if you compare them to the Euros and Latinas in South Beach who are wearing thongs.

I don't go clothing optional beaches because I don't see the need to see someone else private parts nor feel the need to show mine. in fact I feel the best beaches are the ones in Everglades national park. Every once in awhile My family takes the boat out to the ten thousand islands it's so much more peaceful quiet and beautiful.
