True dat. Men in South Florida tend to go for the completely natural look, you know like Bob Marley; he didnt keep his dreads intact. Its all about the rebel look. If you keep your dreads tended to in South Florida, then you are just a pretty boy, haha.

Well, I'm not in Islam so maybe some of them are fake but who cares. But that's nothing compared to that nasty dreadlock look. Another thing, the barbers in florida tend to suck. Philly has some the best Black barbers on earth.

I don't know about all that. Miami has alot of great barbers. A good tight fade can be found almost anywhere in South Florida.

Might have something to do with the region's close proximity to the Caribbean. But your right I was born and raised here and for as long as I can remember that style among the black community was always prevalent
