May be UM should play their games in FIU's stadium. For the life of me I never understood why UM did not partner with the Dolphins and build a new stadium next to Marlins Park.

The stadium is truly only a small piece to the problem and honestly students make up only a fraction of the crowd even in the hey day. Miami is a I only support my team if they are winning type city. Besides that it's a Latin city way more now than years ago. People forget that the U was great primarily in the 80's and 90's when Miami was more diverse. Over these years people including myself moved way North or left the state completely. The only way you pack out Sun Life now is put a soccer game there. Point proven with the Colombian vs Brazil game that was held there. Any other sport won't get the support.
