Sounds like a good deal, spotsart!

MoverandShaker...There are actually hundreds of car washes in Miami, that folks can drive through and have others wash the car, such as Busy Beee and others,
as mentioned....but as to the self wash/coin wash types..unfortunately not many.

I prefer to wash my own car. But that's not easy to do because I live in a condo as do most of my friends.

There is a "touchless" car wash at the Shell on Bird and 67 Ave..

I would never take my car through the car wash at Busy Bee... It will scratch the hell out of your paint... Might as well wash your car with a wool pad....

Touchless is the best of out of those car washes... unfortunately, the liquids they use are a tad harsh which is why no one that cares about their car would wash it through that...

Default So is there any self-car wash?

So is there any self-car wash in the Miami area besides the Busy Bee? Why can't a group of us who like to wash our own cars get together and get a place once a week, like on a Sunday in the morning, where some spot provides hoses and water and we bring our own stuff to do our cars?

I also live in a condo in Miami Beach and can't wash my own car. Did you ever find a group of other condo owners who were able to find a location where once a week, maybe on a Sunday morning, we could use a lot and their hose while bringing our own supplies - all they have to provide is water and some shady spot for us to dry or polish our cars

Last time i checked, there was a coin car wash at Miller Drive (SW 56 st) just west of Ludlam Road (SW 67th Ave).

Also, there is an inexpensive car wash on Bird Road (SW 40 St) about 1/2 mile west of the Palmetto Expwy . For $4 you get an exterior wash and dry (automatic) plus free self-serve vacuum.

I live in a condo too, but we asked and the association set up a small area and put in a water supply and coin-op vacuum. Works really well. (If I get there early enough in the morning I can even get in and out before the boy racers camp on the space and keep everyone else from washing their cars. )
