I like Miramar alot. I live about 10 minutes east of Silver Lakes and there are lot of gated/ungated communities out there and home prices are dropping fast. Everything out there is newer (off Miramar Pwy) and there are alot of shops of Pines Blvd as well. The neigborhood you are talking about is low in crime and there are lot of Jamaicans/Non-hispanic Whites/ Hispanics out there so it's a pretty cool mix. Thank you! The reason I started this thread was to find out if anyone had anything good to say about Miami. Reading through quite a few forums I became cognizant that a lot of people seem to hate Miami. I'm quite happy to know much hasn't changed since I lived there in 2001.
