Ive pretty much narrowed my move down to FL.. Im moving from Panama city, panama. I lived in NY before...

Panama is nice, but the infastructure, etc, isnt up to USA standards.. plus i just miss my family in the states...

So Im deciding between Miami Area or Tampa area..

My info:
Dont need a job.. Have an internet company..
24yrs, looking for somewhere very nice but still close to the fun.

Basically i want a very nice apartment thats close to everything.. I dont know anybody in FL so im worried about making friends..

My budget is $2,000 a month..

Thanks

If you don't need a job and you live in Panama City with a good source of income, you'll be bored to death in Florida. The place is like living in a paved swamp, no hills, people are obnoxious and you'll waste your life driving and getting fat.

More so, consider that if you are used to live in Panama, lots of fiesta, relax, girls, you can drive with a few drinks on you, you'll find that living in Florida is boring and dull.

Why don't you try Santa Marta, Colombia?

Miami is the ideal place for you.

Clubs, SoBe, Malls, beautiful gated communities, great food, etc etc.

Your budget is $2,000?...ummm...

You need more money if you plan to rent a 1 bed apartment. If you share an apartment, $2,000 will be enough money to cover your expenses.

Miami is visited by more than 20 million tourist every year.... there is nothing boring about Miami.

We have the ULTRA event , and many concerts.

The beach is beautiful... you`ll love it.

geez.. I make $4.8k/month and I save $2,300 monthly.

Anything over $3,500/month is more than enough for 1 person in Miami. (rent/food/car/etc etc)....

With your income, I recommend you SoBe.

I am 26. You`ll love this city.

I recommend you Miami hands down.

With your income you`ll love Miami. The best party city in United States. Miami beach is also the best beach in the mainland U.S.

Mr Manz

With that kind of money and considering that you're not tied to any geographical location, you can choose many beautiful places in Latin America a short distance away from the US.
