Founders - Dirty Bastard is my favorite made in Michigan Ale. It's a Scotch Style Ale.

A shame tickets are sold out for next week's beer fest, you could of had the opportunity to taste the offerings from 50 different Michigan breweries in one spot!

Best selection of true Michigan beers is at Crunchy's. They have loads of micro's on tap, and often have specials on certain days. Food selection is decent, filling and fairly inexpensive. If you sit at the bar, the bartender is usually knowledgeable about the beers and can suggest several for you to try before making your selection.

Harper's has good beers, daily food specials (half off, $1.75 pints) as well.

Visit the websites of either for more information.

That was Bush for us. If you went exotic, you could get Coors smuggled in the back of someone's camper from Colorado.
