OK here is a good question!
I am a military reservist. I drill once a month and get paid @ 7-10days after each drill.
Here is the problem. I still have not got paid for my Nov 4-5 drill! The say that it is a "Computer system issue". Here I have just completed my Dec drill and still havent gotten paid for last month. What kind of right do I have for not receiving pay for over 30days? I am not the only military member in this situation either. This is causing a financial burden on several of us due to the fact that we pay certain bills every month with pay. What kind of rights do we have as military members for not being paid when suppose to and it causing hardship? PLEASE HELP!!
Yes, on all. Finance will not call back no matter how many times I call! Unit Commander says that it is a computer systems problem and that it is reserve wide! They said that the wing commander knows about the issue. This is the second time this has happen to us. We didnt get our drill pay for Oct until Nov. I dont understand how hard it is to just make sure to get people pay. They can mess up other stuff but screwing up your pay is messing with a persons lively hood. Sorry if I seem a bit upset but this is really getting old and I have no idea who to go to next. If our Wing Commander knows about this where do you from there? This is apparently an AF reserves issue because my husband is in the MC reserves and is not having any problems. Thanks for your help =)

I don't mean to make light of your situation, but it happens and will likely happen again if you stay in long enough. Don't worry, though, as it will eventually straighten itself out.
On active duty, I once went 3 months with no pay and THEN, when I finally did get paid...it was only $10!
If the wing commander knows about the problem and nobody is getting paid, then nobody is getting paid, including the wing commander. Maybe send a letter to your congressman?

Better yet, get your Mom to do it. I promise, nobody can get stuff done faster in the military than an irate Mom!
Transfer to the Air Guard or another unit that you are comfortable with.
