I served from 88-92, after i got out i was very fit and disciplined, still even had that strong warrior no quit attitude. Now after about 3 to 4 years of civilian life i startted to get lazy and got into bad habits. Im now in my early 40s and crave the discipline and to be the warrior i once was.
My question, can you recommend a civilian like camp or training class that is like bootcamp, that works on fitness but also the mental toughness no quit warrior attitude? I live in Oregon now. I would be greatful for any suggestions. Too old to renlist lol. Mahalo.

Crossfit seems to be the ticket. I'm not a fan, but it's a group setting and pushes a lot of people. It could be what you're looking for. Bad news is it's expensive.

Ya i can imagine. Sealfit is almost a few thousand for a 50hr workout.
I have to physically exert myself to concentrate on daily activities. I laugh at the crossfit mantra because the Military was doing crossfit before it was called crossfit. Many of our military exercises are the baseline activities for crossfit (up/downs, burpees, pullups and pushups, etc). I highjack those crossfit routines, because the time standard and grouping of exercise are logical. And due to cost, I substitute crossfit exercises with standard weights. Just google it, you will find many routines.

Tony Horton&'s 90-day boot camp features fast and effective circuit-training workouts to transform your body in as little as 35 minutes a day. I've known couple city data posters have tried that program and got amazing result.
Well, you should know that there is no workout videos on earth can compare to the real military training (even basic training) But since you are in your early 40s and want to get in better shape. P90 is a good way to start.
