I recently learned from another Veteran that there are organizations available that help get disabled veterans into vehicles. I've come across business looking for people to donate their cars, but the 2 organizations I came upon auction off the donated cars and provide the $$$ to Veterans groups.
This veteran explained to me that a group was able to get her an SUV free and clear, I just don't recall the organization she mentioned.
Local VA can't point me in any direction so I figured I'd come here and give it a shot.
I'm a Gulf War, Bosnia, OIF, and Somalia Veteran 100% perm total disabled. So likelihood is great I'd meet the requirements they may have.
Any help would be great!

Reason: change
I know that some local veteran's group will sometimes work to get a veteran a vehicle. The official government program is to assist with those who need Adaptive Vehicles. Start her and see if this is what you need.

No the program I'm looking for isn't thru the VA The VA doesn't provide vehicles or help you get them, they help certain vets get adaptive vehicles, and will provide the funding for the conversion of vehicles and homes but not actually getting vehicles.
The thing I was told about is one of those new groups that have sprouted up in the past decade that help vets out, heck if you ask the VA they behave as if they're doing you a favor by providing you with medical care.
Thanks Though
