The Global 500 is an extension of the Fortune 500, ranking the world's largest corporations. Here's the 2010 list of world cities and the number of G500 headquarters. Surprisingly perhaps, the Twin Cities are quite high on the list. (Also, the Twin Cities rank in the top 6 in the Fortune 500)

between this and having 20 fortune 500 companies and 5 of the top 25 best cities to live in the country in are metro this shows how great and world class this metro is. if this were in a warm climate it would dominate any city down south.
