Yes-- Uptown is pretty status quo....just more entertainment and less residential/single family homes.

Just to let you know if you move to Minneapolis and want to go back and visit Chicago, the Megabus is a great cheap way to go. I visit Chicago quite a bit and have even gotten tickets for free at times. It beats driving and if you take the late bus you are there in the morning.

Really? How did you get free tix? I want to take Mega Bus but it never seems like a "deal" when I look at the prices (I usually look within a week of when I want to depart). Driving is easy and costs maybe $100 round trip, including food and tolls.
