I have failed my drivers test for the third time now and will go back there in seven days. I guess my reason was anxiety issues because i get really nervous before and during the test and miss some things. The last time i took it i didn't even finish the whole course. Now i have been driving for a long time with my mother and i am confident around her, but the test just gets to me. How do you guys, or did u guys not get so nervous? And also i want to know, is it possible to switch locations because i went to the Eagan DMV on cliff road. Is it possible to change after i take the test for the fourth time and fail or can i also go to a different location before? I really need to help me mother out and if i can change locations it will be awesome.

If Eagan is a closed course test location, try a location with a normal city street test like Chaska.

A couple drinks might help you relax.
Seriously though as suggested a city street course might be better for you. I know a guy who failed several times & then went to Stillwater & passed his first time.

Oh okay is Stillwater an open drivers test? Is the 90 degree backturn and parallel parking done with real cars? And I can just switch places like that?

You can go to any location as far as I am aware. Parallel parking is done between two signs or posts set up somewhere on a random street.

Okay so i can just go to any location regardless of my last test resulting in failure? And do you know of some? I live in Apple Valley but i dont like the Eagan course.

You can test on any course you want. It doesn't matter where you tested before. Hastings has an open course if you prefer that. My question is, if you have this much anxiety, should you be driving?
