I was reading a post titled “Is Minneapolis Racist?” It's closed now. I have traveled to San Francisco, Tacoma, Wash and Minneapolis and stayed in Denver for the winter, lived in Baltimore/Wash, DC area and the New Jersey/Philadelphia metro area and I must say that I have experience more racism in North Carolina then any other place I have travel too. The south have change but there’s room for much improvement. Now I’m planning to move to the Minneapolis metro area in 2014. No matter what someone say to me about the Twin Cities area I believe it’s a great place to call home. When I was there some time ago I meet some great people. I also work with about eight people now who are from the Twin Cities area and they are beautiful people. When are we going to grow up and learn to respect all people not matter what’s the color of their skin. When we work together we can have a better city, state and country. We all have gifts inside of us to help make society a better place for all. We must stop dividing ourselves base on race, gender and lifestyle. If we take time to look for the positive in one another then we can find progress as a people. In that post there was some who posted good things and there were some who found negative things about the Twin Cities. What we must understand we can't allow a few people to change us or how we feel about the Twin Cities.

When I move to Minneapolis as a educated, professional and renaissance man of color, I plan to impact the community with my gifts I have to offer. I believe if you are going to be apart of a community then you should offer the community your positive energy and gifts you have to offer. In other words give back to the community. There is racism in the white community and racism in the black community too. As a person of color I we believe that I can not judge all white people base on what happen during slavery. We can not allow how someone feel to stop us from being the best person you can be in life. I have learn when we respect people no matter their race, you can find peace within yourself. When I traveled to Germany and Japan I had a great time. Why because I took the time to get into their culture. That’s what we need to do learn from each other culture. Let’s stop fighting and start loving one another! If the truth is to be told there are problems in every city but life goes on! In closing allow me to say that the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro area is one of the best places to live in the US.
