What is wrong with these people? WE have a shiny new stadium that we were saving those particular dates for them and they spit on our outstretched hand of welcomeness.

Minneapolis loses out on 2020 College Football Playoff title game to New Orleans - TwinCities.com

as revenge, I call on the University of Minnesota to publicly announce that they will not participate in any future Football Championships!!!

The day before the title game, we should host a charity basketball scrimmage between alumni from the 1982-83 NC State men's team (winners of the '83 tournament; #6 seed) and members of the 1984-85 Villanova squad ('85 tournament champions; #8 seed). Tom Izzo could emcee, perhaps assisted by a rep from the 1980 Olympic hockey team. It would be a tribute to underdogs, and serve to highlight the fact that the college football playoff precludes any Cinderella-story worth remembering. Also, the NCAA and Louisiana would think twice before ******* with us again.

It's weird, the committee says that there would be some sort of sports fatigue here after the previous events are through. Why don't New Orleans or Glendale, AZ get fatigued?
