I've learned I must race up to the red light to protect my place in traffic as well as launch my vehicle off the line to get back up to SPEED once it turns green.
I try to hit empty lanes and not let people cut me off... Typically if they do they are fast anyways. Its rare someone cuts me off and goes slow. Typically fast accelleators drive fast here and drivers are somewhat predictable.

I can't speak for other parts of the country, but I cannot understand for the life of me why people think it's appropriate to sit in the passing lane (left lane) and drive at or below the speed limit. I will never understand their thought process.

MOVE OVER!

Wow. Thanks for getting this topic going. I don't think that's EVER been discussed in this forum. At least not in the last month.

"Driving is a privilege, not a right. A car is really just a means of getting from A to B, not a sort of phallic symbol. It's power under control. In the wrong hands a car is a lethal weapon capable of horrendous damage. In many ways a car is a pulverizing death monster with a glass and steel persona. A viscous, unforgiving beast whose lust for blood is matched only by it's love of carnage. A killing machine, worthy of it's nickname: The Widowmaker."

From an old SNL Wayne's World sketch. I have that memorized.
