We are becoming a more diverse state, the U of MN site Demographics of Diversity in Minnesota says we have more persons of color: "In 2000, 11.8 percent of Minnesotans identified themselves as people of color, up from 6.3 percent in 1990."

I am sure that the numbers have changed since then; but MN probably won't ever be equal to the diversity of Louisiana.
easy when comparing diversity with african american population. The twin cities are quite diverse with all sorts of eurpean decendents, East african populaitons, hmong population, and eastern europ

What an amazing observation. Apparently the Minnesota State Fair was of no interest to you. Did you enjoy a corndog at least?

Since they stopped displaying 2-headed snakes and other oddities I'm not interested either.

How are we supposed to categorize people ? First we are told to call all black people African American and now you want us to seperate it even further? Give me a break. Are there more whites or European or Scandinavian American people in MN?

Default An Afair for all???

Hi,

My opinion is people of color are too smart to pay $5.00 for a corndog, or something "questionable" deep fried on a stick. They also don't usually like farming, or farm livestock so looking at tractors and large pigs is pretty boaring. I'm sure they represent at the entertainment vinues after dark for the bands. This is only my opinion, but I think they would rather spend thier money at different events.
