Hello, I posted a while ago when I was possibly going to move here for work, instead I ended up moving to Cincinnati. I was informed today that I will be moving to Minn after the new year and am starting my search over. I'm originally from Boston and lived in NYC and Long Island previously to my move to Cincinnati.

I am looking to live in a highrise or newer apartment, looking to spend around $1500, give or take (depending on utilities and parking). Looking for hardwood floors, fireplace, chef kitchen (gas stove/range), and whatnot.

Looking for a place that I can walk to night life easily. Mostly lounges, not into the dive bar scene at all. Needs to be near popular restaurants. I would like to be able to walk or cab it to most sport venues as well.

I will be working at Mall of America and then at a site in Minnetonka in 2015.

So far the only building I found is Soo Line, which seems nice, but I know there must be more. My company normally only flies you out for a day or two so I have to cram this search and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mall of America then Bloomington - truly more information is needed - what do you like to do - do you prefer to be closer to work, do you like chains or prefer independents {restaurants, stores, etc} what type of housing you seek etc. For me Richfield, St Louis Park, Mendota Heights, Inner Grove and Uptown in downtown Minny - would be on my short list.

Anywhere downtown Minneapolis, maybe north loop too. Then you could take the light rail to and from work. 1st ave seems to be the center of all the bars and lounges along with lots of restaurants and entertainment. You need to post this in the Minneapolis/St. Paul forum.
