Favre headed to Twin Cities to sign with Vikings today | StarTribune.com (http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikings/53568572.html?elr=KArksLckD8EQDUoaEyqyP4OW3ckUiD 3aPc:_Yyc:aU1yDEmP:QMDCinchO7DU - broken link)

All football fans are going nuts on my floor...which is two of us, but anyways, is everybody else as instantly excited about this season as I am now that the news broke?

Not me !!!!!!

Favre should have stayed retired and is just playing the Vikes like a yo-yo.

I guess Favre couldn't take not being the center of the media attraction after he announced he was not going to the Vikings.

I would rather see the Vikings lose while playing the other 2 QB's than win with Favre at quarterback.

Signing the drama queen Favre will lessen my interest in the Vikings.

I love it. The Vikes have gone from a basement team to a contender.

Yeah cause losing gets fans in the seats and sells jerseys and is a way of thanking the fans for being fans of their team

How dare they want to win a super bowl

--" win a super bowl "--

They had better teams in the past( yes, even if Favre is the quarterback this year ) that went to a superbowl, but failed to win a superbowl.

Did the NY Jets win the superbowl last year ?

Let me ask you two questions and then give you a chance to think about it a little:

1. How many super bowls has Brett Favre won?
2. How many super bowls have the Minnesota Vikings won?

...think about it.

Brett Favre ------has won zero superbowls

The Minnesota Vikings have won zero superbowls.

Superbowls are won by teams ( not by an individual )

Obviously...I'm pretty sure you knew what I meant by that.

He more likely just didn't want to go to training camp and live in a college dorm for two weeks. He was able to avoid it this way.
