No one wants to critique Alabama's second Wholefoods? Tell us what is right, wrong, or what you would change.

I like it. It's about time we got one. It's so clean and so many healthy options. I mean, it's just as basic as everything else is in West Mobile and is extremely plain with no character but it is nice, nonetheless.

I'm looking forward to visiting it tomorrow. I'm interested to see how the selection compares to the Wholes Foods stores in New Orleans and Metarie.

Today was my first time in one and I was impressed especially when I saw a bar with beer selctions and all. I wouldn't call the store bland and cookie cutter I think they did well by adding the hardwood paneling to the front facade.

As of right now Whole Foods,Rouses Market , Fresh Market , and Publix are my go to places to shop.

I adore Whole Foods, and have been to their stores in Baton Rouge, Berkeley, Austin. I'm waiting a bit to go to the Mobile store, until the novelty wears off and the crowds go away. Very excited about it, though. Now, for a Trader Joe's!!!!!

I've been going everyday since they opened, I love it and I'm already talked about as the best customer there, hahahaha!!! It's not overly crowded now was the first 2 days though!

MM52, It has been eight years and the crowds have gotten worse in Birmingham, so don't hold your breath. It is truly a love/hate relationship and those who love seem to go daily.
The unceasing crowds may be the reason why the second store here is under construction.

Of course there are many familiar things in any WF, but I also find they all have a unique personality.
One great thing about the chain is that they are not static or afraid to make even major changes. And they really do take suggestions seriously.

I look forward to seeing the new Mobile store. I love Mobile and know that this new store is pointing in the right direction for the city and its retail maturity.

To MellowBoy; I think you deserve to be thought of as the best customer. And if Macy's shows up one day, I know you will be there too.

Does the store have a sit down sushi bar?

You guys enjoy. (and I am excited about our next new store because I know it will be different from the first, especially being in Birmingham's most commercial area)

Hahahaha thanks and I sure would I do wish we could get a Macy's or Nordstrom Rack or Von MAur, but those are all pipe dreams, but I'm content with the Flagship Belk that we will have in bel Air in the soon to be former sears spot. When is the Hoover WF's opening and what will be it's square footage and what will be its unique features? Also, I hope Birmingham gets a Dillard's and/or a full-line Nordstrom and Banana Republic reopens at either Riverchase Galleria or Brookwood mall, or opens at The Pinnacle shops.
