I just wondered what was in Victor. When I lived in the Bitteroot, Victor was just a stop to get gas between Missoula and Hamilton.

I want to find out why my buddy goes there. Pictures look beautiful and this is probably my only shot of going to that part of country in my lifetime.

There is a town between Missoula and Hamilton? I have been to Hamilton twice in the last 20 years, once to see abut a job at Garlick Helicopters (I think that was the name, it was long ago, and I didn't get the job), and once to buy a tractor (9N Ford, with a Sherman aux transmission).
I guess I did notice a town or two, come to think of it...
The tractor turned out to have the overdrive aux tranny, not the underdrive, so I sold it.
I guess when it comes right down to it, both trips were failures!
Beautiful country, though.

The view of the Bitterroot range is fantastic from Hamilton. These mountains aren't finished growing yet either !

There are three towns on US93 between Missoula and Hamilton, Lolo, Florence and Victor, and two wide spots, Stevensville Y and Woodside.

Your post is a tad misleading. You are technically correct as Corvallis and Stevensville are on the east side of the river and not directly on highway 93. The population figures on maps and on City-Data are seldom accurate. My map doesn't list the population for Victor but lists Stevensville as 1855. City-Data lists Stevensville at 1553 and Victor at 859. It's hard to compare the towns in the Bitterroot Valley without including the ones on the east side of the river such as Stevensville and Corvallis.

It is not misleading. As you note Stevi and Corvallis are on the eastside road. I said US93.
