With all the foreclosures going on and people killing themselves, I have a question? What happens when 1 spouse kills themselves AFTER being served with foreclosure papers and signing them. Remember the other spouse is still alive and signed the papers also.

The other spouse goes into a grieving period resulting in either severe depression, manic episode, and excacerbated with suicide with loss of said home?
