Movie The Hunger Games Mockingjay PART ONE will be released November 2014. Part Two November 2015.

Looking forward to them, although that's a long wait.

Mockingjay is the last in the 3 books. Mockingjay Part 2 released November 2015 will be the last of the movies.

I finally saw Catching Fire last night. I'm looking forward to Mockingjay but wish it was just one movie.

I was told the final book is just too complicated to put into one movie, so it was divided into two. Plus they'll make a couple of hundred million dollars more.

Nah - it's all about the almighty dollar. I liked the books, but unless they add in material like The Hobbit movies, I don't think there is four hours of movie in the book

There's not four hours worth of action in the book I wonder how they're gonna divide the story

I just finished the book this week. I'm wondering where they will divide it too.

Spoiler
I'm thinking part 1 ends with the capture of district 2. Then part 2 is all about the assault on the capital. They will probably add content. The books were in first person, the movies are not. I'd imagine them showing more of the war or events that went on while Katniss was stuck back in 13(like the rescue of Peeta for example

It wound up 2014 as the top grossing film of the year having passed Guardians Of The Galaxy, which was very impressive with NONE of the latter's hefty 3D/IMAX numbers.
