Notorious, the scene where Ingrid Bergman realizes she's being poisoned and there's nothing she can do about it.

Oh, there are so, so, so many. A few that haven't been mentioned on this thread:

- Any of the scenes toward the end of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? where Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn's characters are essentially hashing out that if they are going to avoid being hypocrites, then they need to give their blessing re their daughter's hand in marriage.

- The Overseas Highway sequence in True Lies.

- As I mentioned in another thread, the Refund! Refund! Refund! scene in Breaking Away.

- The "wet spot" line from 'About Last Night....' (the 80's movie based on Mamet's play 'Sexual Perversity in Chicago').

- The 'gold chase' through Los Angeles in the 2003 remake of The Italian Job.

- Kevin (Andrew McCarthy) saying to Jules (Demi Moore) "Jules, there is insanity, and then there is the abyss" in St. Elmo's Fire.

- The 'A real man wouldn't shoplift the pooty' scene in Jerry Maguire....in addition to the ending with Ray throwing the baseball in the park, and any of the scenes that demonstrate the depth of love in Marcy and Rod's relationship.

- Gary Cooper's 'Luckiest Man' speech as Lou Gehrig in 'The Pride of the Yankees'.

- The final scene in 'The Shawshank Redemption'.

- The 'I have a trig mid-term tomorrow, and I'm being chased by Guido the killer pimp' line from Risky Business.

I'm sorry, EVERY scene in 'The Pope of Greenwich Village".
I don't care if it's just Mickey Rourke combing his hair or Geraldine Page's
soliloquy!

Dances With Wolves... when he realizes that he has to leave the tribe or they will be continually hunted by the soldiers and tells Stands with a Fist that she can stay with the tribe and she tells him... you are my husband. My place is with you, where you go, I go.

Probably my favorite scene of all time is when Quint explains the fate of the USS Indianapolis during WW2

The Help, when the ex "maid" gives her racist employer the pie made from her own feces and proceeds to tell her, "you ate my s___. Right up there with Delores Claiborne, when she whacks her low life husband upside the head with a board and announces, "you ever hit me again, one of us is gonna end up in the bone yard". LOVE those 2 scenes.
