The Penguin is great. Best Penguin ever.

I even liked the Riddler a lot, and I have always thought he was the dumbest super villain ever conceived. But this show made me like him.

The kid playing young Bruce Wayne is a fine actor. A pity the writers don't know what to do with him.

I love the look of Gotham City. The TV show nailed this --- something even Nolan failed at. Gotham looks both beautiful as well as rundown and grimy. Nolan's Gotham looked like Chicago and nothing more.

The rest of the show is a train wreck.

I can totally agree with everything you've said here.

I have nothing bad to say about any of the actors I can think of at the moment. I think they're all giving the script and the direction everything that is asked. Set design is superb. Ever notice that Gotham never has a sunny day?

But I'm getting the feeling this show is not actually in the same universe as the Batman we know, but in a universe where Bruce Wayne never quite becomes Batman.

A vision of the world where an exponential increase in the number of enhanced were running around instead of thinking all of this was about the few Avengers and a couple of ex Hydra soldiers. They ran the risk of looking like X-Men 3 but if done right it gave a reason for the fight beyond was Captain America and his allies going to enlist in an UN special ops group

Spidey was in enough, this movie didn't need to be a yuck-fest. The Spidey stuff was almost annoying with the jokes honestly...

Given the age of Peter Parker, his actions were okay, but true, he was in quite enough. Stark pulled him out of the fight at the right time.

That is true, it just got a bit annoying that he made those quips during a mostly serious fight. It wasn't witty like say the Hawkeye comments in the two avenger films.

Pretty solid. Probably my 2nd fave CA movie after Winter Solider. A little heavy on the politics and depressed Tony Stark, but otherwise it was cool.
